Dean is the 2015 Regional winner AMPFP Adviser of the Year and inaugural winner Now Infinity Best SMSF Strategy Award, CEO & Founder of Diversified Financial Planners (18 years) specialising in Self Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) and complex advice areas. Starting in the financial planning industry in 1999, Dean mainly focused on insurance and retail super funds. Soon after, estate planning took his interest because advice was poor across the industry.

In 2005, he made the decision to focus on SMSFs which allowed him to use a variety of strategies where he could add value, combined with the much needed estate planning advice.

Experiencing the most life has to offer is important to Dean. Balance is achieved through his interests from snowboarding, skiing, scuba diving, hiking, travel, UFC and being a mild star wars fan!
